Well, if this is your system (below):

You might try loosening up the flange that connects the mid-pipe to the front pipe, then move the tips so they are where you want them and re-tighten the flange.

Or, try to arrange the hangars so the hold the mufflers where you want them.

Or, do it the redneck way and take some wire and pull that sucker where you want it, then twist the wire to hold it in place.

Or the humfrz old farm boy way, heat the offending side up with a blow torch and beat it unto submission wirth a BFH.
