I use passive word-of-mouth (stickers, logos, etc) to help companies that produce and sell great products or services. Nothing to do with posing as being sponsored, or bragging about expensive parts.
My compensation is getting to enjoy the fruit of the labors of smaller companies. Ones that are disruptive, innovative and imaginative. Tuners, parts manufacturers, suppliers, and even forums
So if a sticker, badge, or license plate frame helps spread the word about the people/companies that bring joy into my life then I promote them. Happily.
