My impression of getting something engineered is not based so much on the product but the way in which the product is installed. So if your calipers look to be in good condition and they have been fitted in a satisfactory manor there should be no problem. When I had the report done for the front brake kit the engineer dude placed a pressure sensor on the brake pedal and measure retardation verses force applied. I have had 2 engineering reports carried out in the A.C.T. From dodgy memory the 1st was about $800 and the 2nd about $1200.
