So I couldn't find a bigger flange to use for the midpipe and I didn't want to cut the stock midpipe, so I just had them cut the one off the TRD midpipe in order to make the new one.

Upgraded to 2.5" piping, but the section going to the muffler from the new resonator (Vibrant Super Quiet) didn't turn out that great due to the pipe bender, however there is MORE ground clearance now which is what I wanted.

Immediately painted it when I got home:

Results:

No noticeable change in power. The new resonator lowers the db a couple points, its instantly notable that it is quieter now (which is also what I really wanted). The exhaust tone isn't as deep as it was though, a little more high strung not so much burbly.

If I were to do it again, I would find a stock midpipe somewhere and buy that and cut off the flange. I would also keep the stock TRD midpipe rear section between the muffler and the resonator, or use mandrel bend pieces (but I couldn't improve the ground clearance like I did with this design, so tough decision there).

But this is my daily driver muffler, I still have my straight pipe with the stock midpipe for anything hardcore if I wish. So I got what I wanted out of this.
