Auto makers think Americans don't like hatchbacks that's why there are so few here compared to Europe Then again, they know we like coupes so we have more here.

Since the thicker hinges would be mounted roof level and it'd require more steel for the rear glass/trunk lid to make a hatchback I wonder what bearing would this have on its performance?
