The de - restrict of the AR platform ONLY is on the back burner now due to the prohibition of the Swiss Arms rifles and the CZ 858 outrage. They have to figure out that mess first i.e. - how to negate an order in council with another order in council ? - Never been done.

The integrating of ATT and RPAL was a possibility with other major C-68 rewrite which was underway but now derailed by the recent R.C.M.P. dishonest and illegal ruling (which tricked the safety minister into the prohibition).
The donkey wolloppers banned the Swiss Arms rifles and the CZ's because of the potential of imminent de-restricting of the AR platform.

They know there isn't enough time now before the next election to legally fix what they have done .

They have always tried to totally outlaw the AR's and will continue to do so.
The CPC has no intention of allowing hunting with all restricteds.

I suggest you contact the organizations and politicians who are up to date with what is being discussed and bargained for in Ottawa for the true and current facts.

When the cops first tried to PROHIBIT the AR-15 it was about to happen until they were advised that it is a CANADIAN right as far back as the British North America Act and now our CONSTITUTION to use an AR-15 (as long as it is our military issue rifle).
So they restricted it instead.

We as Canadian citizens and members of the British Commonwealth have a CONSTITUTIONAL right to posess to compete (along with the army) for the Queens Medal, with the rifle used by our military which happens to be the AR platform.
