Did you spin the clevis? It's that u-shaped bracket thing. And did you make sure to loosen the nut right behind the clevis before turning?

I didn't spin the U-shaped bracket, but I did loosen the nut right behind it before turning. Oh well, it's slightly above the break pedal now and is at just the right height for me. Just wish we could get rid of some of the travel before engagement!
