Yes and no.
Wax doesn't really layer well, but synthetic sealants are much harder, and can be layered.
One last thing to note is that synthetic sealants and glazes can last 6mo to 1 year and can be easier to clean and maintain. However, waxes tend to run thicker on application, and some have properties that can amplify the appearance of certain colours. Waxes tend to look better, but only last roughly 2-3 weeks.
Waxes CAN be layered onto synthetic sealants after the sealant has cured.
