This upgrade seems awfully expensive for what your getting out of it. In my opinion the stock unit sounds awful. I have pretty sensitive ears so I immediately decided to upgrade the stereo during the first test drive. The guy selling me the car completely disagreed.. He said it "bumped" ...yea...

For almost the same money I have more features and much better sound by going aftermarket. I have replaced all speakers/amp and added a sub. I could buy a add-on $300 gps unit for my aftermarket hu but I don't see the point when Google maps is excellent. I use it everyday on my LG G2 with this mount:

If your happy with the OEM sound, want a few more features and have the cash. Id say go for the stock upgrade but the price vs. experience just doesn't balance out for me... Aftermarket audio has always been the only option for me.
