I am hopeful that it turns out 6-10 psi and a proper tune don't grenade the cat. It would be great for @ ptuning to chime in here.
I would like to run around with the stock manifold for a while but if a few track events are not an option with the stock manifold in place...

Sorry guys, I've been pretty busy with dyno tuning recently and haven't been able to chime in here as much. I'll try to answer some of the other questions tonight though. In regards to running the stock catted header, I don't foresee it being a problem, and here is why:
- Most people will eventually replace their header at some point in time, assuming they don't already have an aftermarket header in place from their days dabbling with NA mods.
- Since we don't have Subaru or Toyota corp money to test the limits of the stock cat, we do tell owners to look into running an aftermarket header should they decide to run high boost with E85, race gas, WMI, or built lower compression motors.
- I don't see any issues arising when running the stock header on pump gas. I feel you'll reach the detonation limits of 93/91 pump gas way before you reach the limitations of the factory cat.
- Some will argue that the pre-cat on the EJ20 motors were a problem. Truth be told, some cars saw 100K+ miles without issues. Others probably died from abuse, etc. Bug eye owners don't all necessarily take care of their cars.

The EJ20, being a factory turbo motor ran pig rich and used a tiny turbo that ran very high EGTs....things not friendly to cats.
- We do not run pig rich with our turbo setup, since we advise dyno or ETuning after installation. Also, we definitely do not have issues with high EGT's, not with the GT3076R turbo we're using. We generally tune for 6-9.5 psi on pump gas, since this is where I feel we'll see diminishing returns with the addition of boost.
Hope this helps to clear things up. Oh, and Kanundrum tracked his car about a month ago at Summit Point Raceway (Main). Granted, his HPDE level with the particular organization didn't allow for open passing during the 30 minute sessions, he was still able to easily see 120+mph down the back straight.
We'll have a lot more track info on our turbo set-up in the coming weeks and months. Many of our customers will be tracking their cars over the summer. We'll also be putting our very own shop car through it's paces at local track events too. We need to put our Ohlins R&T coilovers, huge StopTech brakes, and R888's to good use.
