My perspective is as a motorcyclist. I think most cars are boring as hell. I currently drive a 2009 TL SH-AWD ( ), and am looking for something entertaining on four wheels for those day when I have to drive. I also live in the DC-Metro area, and soul-sucking traffic is a way of life. IMO, the only thing worse than sitting in traffic is sitting in traffic in a 350+ hp car. Talk about having an elephant gun with no elephants! I see the BRZ as an honest, inexpensive, fun car that I can enjoy in my area. That doesn't mean I don't get your POV, though.
BTW: Your second paragraph was ROFLTastic! I read it as: I want a BRZ with more power, and my opinion counts, damnit!

It seems you and I are in, basically, the exact same situation. We even drive the same cars.
