So you can have ARs but not AKs in MD? Is it because they're imported? Even if 922r compliance?
BTW, IMHO, Scar H is a far superior weapon over the FAL. Had a HK91, that thing was a dream. Wish I never sold it but the price was too good to turn down.

Actually, ARs are grandfathered if purchased before 10/1/2013, otherwise technically you can't get them. The law allows for 'Colt Sporter HBAR' models - local gun market has taken that to mean that
any heavy barrel AR is legal. Regardless, I'd encourage you to read up on Maryland's 'Firearm Safety Act' of 2013 if you want to read some asinine shit. They banned ~40 semi-autos of various manufacture including Kalishnikovs in any form.
