Heh, I'll bet mine has seen less of winter than yours. I might even reach 7000 km this year!
Yeah, last year my tires went off the cliff during the second-to-last event. Not the best way to close out the season. Trying to get two full years of competition out of them was expecting too much.
For this year I've running the same brand tires as Kenny (BFG Rivals) but mine are about an inch narrower (225 vs. 245) just because I like a challenge.
Actually, it's because I've had to delay getting wider wheels. Some other "minor" expenses have cropped up, like a new roof (know any good roofing companies?) and a new lane way (know any good paving contractors?).
