I have, but I was just thinking in my head that if you yanked the E-Brake it would lock up the wheels within a 1/2 of a second. And since the the wheels tranny and engine are all connected that the engine would stop within 1/2 a second aswell which sounds pretty violent and easily damage something.

Fortunatly that doesn't seem to be the case. I have heard that some older cars have like a metal pin system that locks the tranny in place. Not sure if that's true but the little drum brake seems like a better idea anyhow. Thanks for the responses. I feel safer now haha.

This makes me feel a little better haha. It was kinda freaking me out at first.
