If the structure of the ROM is the same, ie same tables and the ROM update was just a calibration update ie they changed some values in the tables not the structure. Then you should be able to just changes all the references to A01I to A001 with a text editor and make a definition file.
but I am not going to guarantee your success.
Are you trying to edit your original ROM or the OFT rOM ?? , usually the OFT ROM is based on the later update probably A01I so you should use that definition.
