Hankook RS3 is the best street tire for dry grip. Dunlop Z2 is close to an RS3, but it's a little peaky. Yokohama AD08R is a great tire, but the grip level isn't quite as good as the RS3, but the wet grip is significantly better than RS3 or Z2. Federal 595RS-R and BF Goodridge Rivals are probably the bottom of the barrel in terms of EHP tires (140-200 TW). They are still much better than your 200+ TW tires, but they aren't as good in the list above.  |
thanks for the info. would you recommend the RE-11A or RS3 over Pilot Super Sports? i am currently debating between the three. im looking to go with a 245/40 on 18x8.75 wheels.
