If the engine can keep producing good torque beyond the stock redline, then the power will continue to climb. The powerband will be bigger, and you will have higher top speeds in each gear.

The 6400 torque peak is a little deceptive since the "peak" is a small one. The torque curve is pretty flat. With that said, we don't know if the torque will remain flat over 7000 just yet. The engine might need cams, port work, or at least VVTi mapping to still produce torque at those revs.
