Ethanol prices at the Chicago Board of Trade has been climbing and then spiked the past couple weeks .
There is no shortage of ethanol , corn prices didn't go up but rather they are having issues getting rail cars out of Chicago , first it was the hard winter and then a shortage of rail cars . So Ethanol Prices spiked..
So expect to see the price spread between E85 and Gasoline continue to narrow for the next few weeks .. hopefully everything gets back to normal soon .
Still some excellent price spreads around the Country , just letting you know when you see E85 almost the same as Gasoline in some areas ..that is what is going on.
Retail Stations that are dealing Directly with their local ethanol plants will still see great price spreads ..
