pull exterior cover off
take off 3 hex bolts
pull mirror off
pull mirror panel off
remove three bottom screws
the door panel removal is the most time consuming part and that takes 5 minutes tops never having done it before

clearly I'm not the most handy person, but just wanted to give fair warning for a job that I think requires a little finesse given all the plastic as opposed to the more direct nut/bolt job. I would argue the door panel is easier
