Magnaflux is the brand. The process is Fluorescent/Dye Penetrant Inspection, it pulls surface cracks on non-ferrous metals (and ferrous).
Poodles was most likely referring to Magnetic Particle Inspection, it only works on magnetic (ferrous) metals... saw "Magna..." and thought magnetic probably?
