23,000kms barely 1yr of ownership and not driven the car for the last 4 months (in storage) and the drivers side floor mat has bald patches.

Next visit to the dealer I am going to inquire.. well I should say haul it out and drop it on the service manager's desk 
My 2009 yaris (more than 5 times the mileage) floormats look fine cept for a little fading - no bald spots or wear as extreme as the subie mats. |
Honestly the first time I had chance to really look at the floor mats in daylight (bought the car in the dark with never having seen it in person in the daylight) I thought they looked like they wouldn't wear very well.
I plan on taking them out and getting weather tech liners.
