My gut feeling is that Subaru is holding off its BRZ pricing announcement until the New York Auto Show press conferences.

I just got a hold of the press conference schedule and, to my great surprise, it's the first time I can recall that there's no Scion press conference in New York. This would also explain why they released pricing yesterday.

Subaru, on the other hand, has a NY Auto Show press conference scheduled for Thursday 5 April at 9:55 AM Eastern Time. While the main focus is expected to be the North American debut of the XV Crosstrek (an SUV-wannabe, Outback-type version of the latest Impreza 5-door hatchback), it would also make for a handy and logical venue for the BRZ pricing announcement.
