You can polish by hand but it's much more difficult to get the results, not to mention more time consuming.

If not, time to look into picking up touch up paint and clear coat, use multiple thin layers instead of large gobs of paint and a product like the Lenka version or Dr. Colorchip.

On second look at my ding, it seems that it wasn't as deep as I first thought. At first it looked like it went through the clear coat. which makes sense since there was the other car's paint on my car.
I appreciate the short write up! I'll do this probably tomorrow when it isn't so windy.
