I was at a Scion dealership in central Virginia today working numbers on an FR-S that I want to buy. The guy started at MSRP and added about $800 delivery, $500 fees, and $1000 tax. He wouldn't budge because "Scion is not allowed to sell new cars with a starting price below MSRP".
We did not make a deal today. It's nice to hear that Subaru will at least work with you on the price, but they seem to already start a couple thousand higher than Scions.
I'd like to make it out the door for $25k or less for a base model.
