Don't ever pay pure price, it's a rip off. Just tell the dealer to fuck off and walk away. You can make a deal if a dealer actually wants to sell a car. With Scion sales as horrible as they are, they have zero leverage to enforce it. Toyota even gave dealers the green light to stop supporting Scion as a separate and distinct brand last year.
Bottom line, don't be a sucker. Someone wants to sell you a car the right way, you just have to find them.
As for the Nitrogen, tell them to take it out and put in air and watch them throw it in for 'free' just like LoJack or whatever BS they try to pull. Now if you live in the middle of nowhere and there's only one stealership you might be screwed unless you're willing to drive or ship a car.
