They are towing my vehicle and the STi all the way back down to Washington because they are really wanting to help out a couple Soldiers who's cars are stuck a couple hours from the post we call home. USAA was a surprise. I was involved in an accident with a driver who was insured by USAA in the Pentagon parking lot (I was not). My bike was totaled by my insurance and I was happy overall. I then got a call from USAA offering me some cash which was a total surprise. TL;DR: USAA will make it right for you, and they have some "suction".
