SirBrass answered this for you, but I had a few questions. What type of fuel are you using? How many miles are on the vehicle? Are your plugs fouled?
Unintended detonation can be caused by various things, some of which being inconsistent fuel amount by injectors, fouled plugs with irregular detonation, inconsistant AFRs, and a few other things that I've forgotten because I have a memory like a fish and I am not near my old ASE notes and haven't been a mechanic for 10 years, and I don't use this information daily anymore.
