I would've bought the 86 over the BRZ but not the FRS over the BRZ. I'm probably not alone. ( 86>BRZ>FRS )

I totally agree. When I heard it was going to be a Scion I had a bad feeling, but was hoping for the best. Then I find out the FRS is a just a dolled up base 86 with a crap Scion head unit, no leather, no HID, no push button etc etc (I loved the 86 exactly how it was at the reveal, and yes toyota I would have liked to have the "option" to have that car as a loyal toyota owner, no one said you couldn't sell both trims). But I got over it after I saw the BRZ in person. The BRZ is everything I wanted minus some minor details. Now, I'm hearing the BRZ might be closer to the FRS in price. I hope it's true. Also, seeing how the FRS is a Scion I am quite sure a fully optioned one will cost close to what a fully loaded BRZ would be. Personally, I'm going for the BRZ. I'm sure some will go for the FRS and thats perfectly fine, but that pricing for a scion just doesn't seem right especially if these BRZ rumors are true. This just seems like a bad business decision on toyota's part. Just kill of scion already toyota, they're going to mess everything up.
