So, I've almost made up my mind on the 530. If you ask anyone from off-topic I have been debating wheels for a long time, and I think they're just about done with me changing my mind. 17x7 +35 = 215/45/17 tires - Pros: Cheaper (slightly) initial wheel price, cheaper, easy to find tires. Slightly lighter. Cons: Less grip! Stock size = pointless upgrade.

17x8.25 +35 = 235/40/17 tires - Pros: Wider tire, more grip, better looking, justifies the expense of wheels and tires. Cons: Potential poke, wheel/tire costs more, rare tire size limits tire choice, heavier combo.

Basically 17x7 is cheap and simple. 17x8.25 is an actual upgrade, but more expensive. (Though still much cheaper than any combination I've come up with to date.)

You can go 225/45/17 on an 8.25" wheel. And no it won't poke. That's an assuredly common tire size
