Yup it's a Hero3+ Black Edition. You can get some pretty decent shots if you shoot in timelapse mode shooting a shot every 2 seconds. Gets you a lot of photos to sift through but you'll almost always get some good ones. Hardest part shooting photos with the GoPro is getting a shot with good exposure since you can't manually set that function.
