Ok, so the in the GT-S trim it's Sport and in the MR-S name it's Spyder. In this case I'm assuming it's FR-Sport. But naming a car based on its drivetrain layout is weak and unoriginal. This is why I don't like the name and would rather it be any of Toyota's old sporty-coupe names with alphanumeric trim packages like SR5 (S here meant what???) or GT-S. Hell, I'd even prefer Starlet to this empty name.
Apparently the reason North American versions get this shit (like RSX instead of Integra) is because the North American marketing-types are too concerned with building brand loyalty as opposed to model loyalty.
