To the OP: you CAN get your money back. I did.

Here's what happened: paid guy through paypal as a gift. Ended up realizing it was a scam along with a few others the next day. Call paypal and state what happened. Apparently, you have a one time exception where you can dispute a charge that was gifted. After a few more days, I call paypal again asking the status of the claim. They basically said I was screwed, however after further review since I put the link of what I bought in the notes section of the payment, they were able to justify the reversal of payment. So, I got my money back.

Your best bet is to call paypal to figure out your options and ask if you can send them evidence to your purchase.

I have already talked with paypal, sending them his info along with all his threads with people saying they were scammed of their money. Hopefully that does something to reverse some if not all payments that were made to him.

This guy needs to be taken off the interent. He has been running rampit over various forums including bimmerforums, vwvortex, ft86club and many others.

You can also file a claim with your bank...where paypal won't help you your bank usually will regardless of if the payment was a gift or not on paypal
