sometimes mistakes happen at the shipper's side. They mis-label the packing slip which then causes all kinds of problems at the border.

Trust me... i ship a lot of stuff all over the globe at the company work at, sometimes the smallest things cause the biggest headache, paperwork is key.
Regardless I would prefer to stop buying from the US and support Canadian companies, even if it does cost a couple dollars more in the end. Generally my wait times for parts from Canada have been a lot shorter too.
