thanks for the pointers! I will keep that in mind. Now to make sure I get back to Thill again before too long...
had a few other questions which maybe I should have asked anyone else who was around and available that day...
on the front straight, I was hitting top of 4th gear near the end of it and found upshifting to 5th let me carry a little more top speed, but then found myself only being there for a few seconds and then having to lose time on shifting. So I found myself at times staying in 4th and just holding at redline until braking point for turn 1. thoughts on which is better?
and in turn 5 (bypass), not sure where I should brake and where to get back on the throttle. I was told it was very similar approach to turn 3. But I tended to take it fairly conservatively.
