But when we added on the stock exhaust, usually by accident (literally), track incident or what have you, we retested on the dyno doing nothing else except putting it on the vehicle and it would increase the power, torque and throttle response across the board.
The exhausts that were on the cars (we removed) were all 3 inch exhaust systems. We never tried any 2.5 inch.

We had 5 NA cars on the dyno this weekend, 4 with different types of 3 inch decat system with DIF which got about 6whp more than the stock 86. I took my AFE filter out of my car put it in the stock 86 ran the car again and the stock 86 with the DIF ended up with 3whp more than the cars with aftermarket exhausts.
