I checked out that sintra stuff and it looks great except it can be heated and molded into a shape with as little heat as a hair dryer puts out. Probably not the best thing to sit in the sun for hours in a 150º+ car. I may eventually look into covering it, but that would make it heavier and slightly thicker. Not much, but maybe enough. Right now it's nice and light, and I don't want to do anything that might make it rattle against the window.
