Since the tablet is basically just a tool to load the maps, you don't have to wait for a specific tune for your setup. You can tune it yourself or see if your local shop can tune open source, AKA RomRaider. It's just like if you had a Tactrix cable, but you don't need to keep a laptop in the car to use all of the features.
Speaking of which, @ shiv@vishnu, will the OFT at some point have the ability to record multiple datalogs back-to-back? I don't know how much storage space it has, but I've recorded pretty long drives. That same space could be used for multiple short runs. I am clueless as to how that works on the programming/development side, I'll admit. But it would be really handy. |
I am no longer the only person who has asked for this. I even asked for possibly just a pause/append option. It really isn't that hard to do.
