They made some clerical errors, but they have been amazing as far as customer service goes. I did trade in a car, but it's hardly worth mentioning since it was at 276,000 miles so the value wasn't much. But they did work with me on the price to get the payments down to where I needed them to be!
I have had great service out of them so far as well. Apparently they also do a drawing every month out of all customers who purchased that month for a free extended warranty. (The 60,000 mile one they push during financing.) I'm glad I turned down the warranty in financing because a few days after I bought the car I got a call that I won the free warranty :-) Honestly at first I thought it was a trick but I went in and they showed me the paperwork. Legit SOA warranty for $0 dollars.

I haven't really had any problems shifting with the stock fluid either. This gear box is certainly noisier than the one in my Chevy Colorado I drove for the last ten years before I bought this car though. I guess the only thing I've noticed is that when it's cold it's a little harder to shift but once everything's warmed up no problems. Maybe another fluid would help with lower temps.
