I like option 1 without the cup holder or option 2 if it lifts up similar to option 1. Material to match the door armrests with single red stitching is my preference.

I like CelicaFan reply way back about the hollowed out and higher/raised. The oem armrest is so expensive...can't wait for your version. I looks really good already from the pics.
