The S1 Innovate would have been just the perfect upgrade if it weren't for all the issues. Those centri charger IMHO are for track racing, they don't boost the low end torque like a pos disp. blower. Slam me all you want but I just don't think this engine was built to rev and add a cent blower and I wouldn't be comfortable with it as a daily.
But the non intercooled innovate had appeal. Fairly simple (less to go wrong), I've had pos disp blowers last 130k miles, engine and all fine when I sold it. But I have to admit reading the other thread doesn't give one a sense that quality was top priority. Innovate of course doesn't make the blower, that's a quality piece. Its the integration, low grade bolts for example that bother me.
And I would be delighted if I never saw another post with E85 mentions. Here it is not sold, I would love to know how many owners actually live, drive their car to work every day, and can conveniently fill up with E85? 1%,10%?
I have a hunch that the intercooled version is a bit of a gimmick, doubt that the difference would be noticed daily driving unless you like jail. Seems you would really have to get on it for extended runs to make a big difference, I know look at the dynos. Dynos can be made to show about whatever you want.

Though it may be on e85, there is a big difference in the intercooled/non intercooled numbers on it. Not exactly sure about 93, but from what i've seen and read its a 30whp' ish difference.
I have an e85 station I pass everyday. I plan on going flex fuel, as it isn't COMPLETELY convenient, since its the only e85 station in my area. Last thing I want to do is map switch, rather just have flex fuel and can fill up with whatever I want.
The whole reason I went with the intercooled kit is for consistency. With the non-intercooled kit, on a hot day you can feel the power slowly tapering off as you run the car for a longer period of time.
I am not saying its acceptable, but I am really just shocked at the amount of people who keep mentioning the supercharger bolts.
Mine were completely fine until I removed the charger to install the intercooler. Only 2 had broke, the rest are fine, which could have been me just overtightening them. They don't have a very high tq rating.
