Hi Guys, while the below two suggestions don't meet your entire criteria they are cars that I have recently test driven in the lead up to potentially purchasing an 86. I'm thinking that they are just as fun (having not driven the 86 or course) and they are the same (or very slightly more) or less money.

2012 Renault Megane Sport 250 Cup III X95 - FWD (as in front wheel drive :p although with the lsd in it, it really didn't matter) $42k 184kw, 320Nm, Turbo and really surprisingly fun to drive.

2012 Volkswagen Scirocco R 1S - FWD again but was still pretty fun, not as fun as the Renault though and really pushing the price at $47k 188kw, 330Nm, Turbo.

But both vehicle would probably also appeal to Toyota’s official target market of the mid 30's and combined income of around $150k ...
