It's happened to several people in the past (including myself, with a rod straight through the block). A very common problem with imported engine swaps (since those engines are slid around and banged around a lot on the floor during shipments, resulting in messed up oilpans).
Wow okay, thanks for the heads up! This is the case even when using a rubber block? Where should it be supported? Not many options down there.
