Face it, Toyota has become the brand image of the Camry generation in North America. They haven't made a RWD sports car for sale here since the 90s. How long are you going to wait?

Bleh, no thanks. Where do you get this notion that I "love front wheel drive"? My first car was a Toyota Cressida, equipped with a 7M-GE engine from the MK III Supra along with a slightly modified supra suspension. That car was RWD and I miss it dearly. As for my Celica, I wanted a GT-4 (AWD) but kind of hard to get one as they were never made in North America not to mention the difficulty of importing one. MR-2 was out as I needed a back seat.
