Hm... you don't need to run full stand-alone to run a turbo. You just need a black-box or aka sub ecu to run the turbo... but I do agree that they should make this car easy to tune ecu.

side note: No, I don't want twin turbo on boxer. It's already complicated engine as is, I don't want another JDM Legacy. Also there you gonna put 2 turbos in there? Subaru have hard time putting one turbo in. Last time they put 2 turbos in their car, they regret doing it.

I prefer Supercharger instead. Cuz if you set up the SC well, SC will cancel the crappy low end tq on 2L engine. That's the main problem people are complaining w 2L turbo WRX & STI.
