Speaking generally, if confirmed, 24,200 is too high to be competitive. The market is just to saturated for the average buyer.

Heck they should have put it at 23,900 to be under 24k... just for psychological purposes.

However, personally I think the price is OK for me.

If this is the price the BRZ premium will be probably around 26k, and the limited 28k and that is too much for that car. I foresee a lot cancelled preorders, and it looks like I'll be headed down the FRS route; not because I couldn't afford the BRZ, but because to me the FRS is a better value.
