I traded in my 2013 WRX on my 2014 FR-S. The kick in the pants you get when the turbo hits full spool is fantastic. Having four doors (even though I think I had someone sit in the back on inly four occasions) is nice to have, and so is the cargo space if you have a hatch (I did). The AWD system is ok, but makes steering feel slightly numb compared to the FR-S. But there is a fun factor with the 86 platform you're not going to get with the WRX. The 86 is better on gas. Slightly cheaper to insure. Gets a lot more comments. And surprisingly, I have more leg/knee room in the FR-S. WRXs are great cars, but if you're looking for fun and a sporty feel get a FR-S/BRZ.
