Guys, this has been a joint project from its inception a few years ago. Why would Subaru and Toyota sell competing products in the same marketplace? If I'm not mistaken, the original press releases said the car would be badged a Subaru in some markets, and a Toyota in others. This means one drivetrain, one body. And I guarantee that Subaru will not be designing a new underbody chassis for this car (if you meant a new outer body shell, then maybe, but I doubt it).

And, yes, they could do that... but then again the CEO of Subaru recently said that there "would be no Subaru without Toyota", so somehow I doubt they're going to do that...
At this point, a AWD 086A is about as likely Toyota offering a Supra FT-86 version --- sounds neat, but it's just speculation in the minds of the fans. There's just been no information leaked to suggest it.
For the last one I was referring to this http://www.motortrend.com/auto_news/...ame/index.html

Although I agree with your points on this topic, you should never, ever, cite Motor Trend as a reputable source. They're the automotive equivalent of your National Enquirer.
