I had not a clue that DSS uses porsche outer CV's in our applications. I also should have spent more time looking at the motoiq pics or when I was under the car the other day and should have realized it's a simplified inner CV without separate sub axles coming out of the diff. I just transfered from the Pontiac GTO/Holden Monaro world where they had stub shafts and everything bolted together.

So, it seems as though even if you upgrade to the 930 outers you're still stuck with the OEM inners, which can probably be heat treated, with an upgraded cage installed from some other application... Surely our designs aren't 100% unique, that would mean Toyobaru would have to invest an outrageous amount of money into manufacturing of the axles alone.

Also, @Dipstik-sportech and I can't be the only ones on here thinking about this. Surely someone else has input even if its "y'all fools be trippin bout not a problem"
