keyword, last gen IS-F... cars change over time; that is a fact. BMW downsize the engine for its M3/M4 coupe, great for them. doesn't mean that everyone should do the same.

yes the RC-F, RS5 and ect are going to weight more than the new M4. but im pretty sure some people will still be cross shopping between the two. its like if the new Supra will be a 6 cycle turbo while the base C7 is a NA V8, but there are still going to be some cross shopping between the two.

Toyota acutally used the E92 M3 coupe as a benchmark for the RC-F
