I couldn't fit in the Rx8 seat. My back couldn't touch the back rest because my shoulders were stuck on the sides.
The mini cooper seats seem narrow.
How was the lumbar support?

I'm in the same boat as you are. I also wear a 48 jacket and, although I'm not much concerned about head room anymore, I'm still concerned about the width of the seats.
